Conspiracy Theories, When the mind wanders, it goes to fascinating places. And almost forever, minds have been going into coming up with conspiracy theories. Here are some really cool ones I found on the internet-
- Snapchat is working with the FBI to popularise and secretly test and modify facial recognition. It has made face recognition a mundane thing for us. When we were first introduced to Snapchat we were surprised by the fact that it could scan our faces. Now, it’s just a regular thing. If I believed that it also gives information to aging apps.
- The only reason for Disney to make ‘Frozen’ was that it would alter google search results. Now if you search Disney Frozen, it shows you movie posters and not results about Walt Disney’s body being frozen. Similar theories are popular about ‘Disney on ice’.
- A conspiracy theory states that Malala Yousafzai is a western spy. This theory is rooted in a satirical piece called ‘Dawn’. Theorists further believe that the Taliban’s attack on Malala was orchestrated by her own father to further damage the image of the Taliban.
- Many believe that Yuri Gagarin wasn’t the first man in space, he was just the first man to come back alive. This is also supported by the fact that Russians didn’t disclose much of their failures to the world. They claimed that only animals were on the shuttles that didn’t make it back. These claims are believed to be fake.
